UHF Repeater Locations
Repeater stations allow your CB radio to operate over a greater distance (where your CB has Duplex mode). For example, if there was a repeater station available on CH 1 in your area, and the transmitting and receiving CB radio had duplex enable on CH 1, the repeater would receive your transmissions on CH 31 and re transmit them on CH 1. Because the transmitting and receiving CB radio have duplex enabled, they know to listen for transmissions on CH31 automatically. This can allow transmissions over natural features such as mountains and increase range, depending on the position of the repeater and the receiver.
