I have had 4 baby monitors in my baby time and this would be one i would not go past. There is no interference at all, i didn't believe this could even happen. It has so many features, do not buy anything else!!! (Posted on 30/01/12)

We have used the Secure 200-2 for 8 months.

I bought it after researching what other users had said in their reviews. They were all correct! It uses DECT RF technology, which is really necessary.

One need not consider tyring to find better when you have this device.

It works perfectly as a baby monitor, has perfectly clear sound, is very sensitive, and has no crackling or other noises at all.

It has enabled us to be "Secure" in the knowledge that we would hear the slightest sound from our DD, and do things away from her room.

The out-of-range warning is useful, but we have never heard this with normal usage around the house - only when I tested it for range.

We've used the 'parent talk-back' feature rarely, but on these occasions it really made our lives easier.

The temperature measurements are not the same as what we measure, and the range before an alarm is set is not the range we would use. We don't need this feature, so it doesn't matter to us, but I suggest Oricom 'improve' this in a new release.

The initial outlay for this monitor is on the high end of the scale, but it is complete worth it. I love how everything this monitor can do can be done by a touch of a button when you're at the other end of the house.

Temperature guide is really good too, but seems to be a little inaccurate at times, but is better than nothing.

There are so many good things I can't write them all, but everything it says it does, works and is excellent.

The only down sides are, annoying beeping waking you up when the battery is going flat, but still works if you leave it one charge. (Make sure you charge for at least 14 hours to get the most out of the battery life though) I seem to get from 9pm-5am before the battery starts to die.

It was also a little hard to start getting used to, turning warning sounds no and off (eg; the temperature warning sound) have had a very hot summer and it constantly kept beeping to alert me the room was too hot, (40 degree days!) and I have to read the manual twice to understand, and have my fiancée read it twice too before we finally got the hang of it. But once that was understood....no problems.

Great product but batteries in hasndsets go flat in 6hrs. I did charge them 24hrs before use.

I have been through 3 different monitors prior to purchasing the Oricom Secure 200-2 and have had plenty of interference from mobile phones, Bose radio remote etc with all of them.

This monitor is the best!! I have had no interference whatsoever. From what I was reading on the internet I did not think there was a baby monitor that had no interferece, but the Oricom Secure200-2 has been perfect. I am so happy with my decision to purchase this monitor and would highly recmmend it to ayone. (Posted on 16/06/10)

No interference! I didn't think it was possible. Crystal clear reception. Lots of great features. I love the two way feature - fantastic for comunicating with sick kids.
The lullaby function is great and it is brilliant having a clock on the parent unit.

This is SO CLEAR!! I have a child with epilepsy and can hear if he's having a fit because his breathing changes!! I'm very happy with it. The battery lasts for ages on the parent speaker but it works while it's charging, too!! I can talk to my child and reassure him that I'm coming to him via the talk-back facility. I love it.
