Q. My parent unit is beeping, Why?
A. This could be that the batteries need to be recharged, place the parent unit on the
Charger to recharge the batteries. Also the parent unit may be out of range of the baby unit try moving closer to the baby unit.
Q. I can’t hear any noise coming through the parent unit, why?
A. Check that the sensitivity is set correctly on the parent unit, and also check the volume levels are set correctly.
Q. Can I have two parent units to the one baby unit?
A. yes you can have two parent units – you can purchase them direct from Oricom
Q. Can I have two baby monitors to the one parent unit?
A. NO the unit can only have one baby monitor
Q. The parent unit won’t turn on, why?
A. Try a a reset of the parent unit, take out the batteries from the parent unit and turn off the baby monitor – leave it like this for 1 hour and then reconnect the unit. Also are the batteries fully charged – try a full recharge of 14 hours.
Is the battery pack inserted correctly. The black lip must be facing downwards.
Q. My batteries are not lasting the recommend hours.
A. Check the date of purchase as the batteries may need to be replaced. Try doing a full 14 hour charge then leave the unit off charge but switched on until the battery low warning turns on, then recharge again for 14 hours. If you do this charge discharge 3 times it should recover the capacity of the battery, if not they will need to be replaced. Replace the batteries with the same type and capacity, if you are unsure of what batteries to purchase please contact Oricom Customer

Price Value Quality This monitor is great althought the batteries are not aht good but Oricom are sending new ones out as we have only had monitor since july. Great product as there is not interference from other appliances or radios etc and we live in a unit block. I would definitely recommend this to others. (Posted on 21/10/11)

Quality Price Value We love this monitor. It is great value for money - we already had a temperature sensor and music so only needed a basic model. Reception is fantastic and we haven't had any of the issues with battery life that others describe. Ours mostly sits in the charger however. I was only sorry it didn't have a second parent unit for our upstairs bedroom to ensure there is always a unit in there - until I discovered you can link a second unit (PU100) for $59.95. I have highly recommended Oricom products now when I see other families browsing the shelves! (Posted on 14/10/10)

Quality Price Value This unit is great! Can travel all over the house and know I will have great reception from the monitor. Doesn't interfere with other electrical appliances either which was our major concern.

great unit but issues with batteries Review by Reba
Quality Price Value I have found this to be a great monitor with no interference with TV or other appliances. However, the rechargeable battery life seems very short. Had our monitor since November 09 and second set of batteries are on the way out (Apr 10). Need to obtain replacements from supplier so it takes time to get them. (Posted on 16/04/10)

Quality Price Value this unit is so good that there is no interferance from other monitors as you get with the fisher price type.
the range is also better with the oricom i can use it outside hanging the clothes.
